The building
Built in 1742, this ancient building is composed by barns, stables, wine cellars and rooms and has been renovated respecting the alpine architecture, thanks to a careful planning of the use of materials, ancient woods and natural stone, furniture and structures.
The place
Grandmother’s barn is located in the historic centre of Introd, in the Aosta Valley, at 880 m amsl. It is situated in the Gran Paradiso National Park, in a strategic position for hiking or sport activities, near ski lifts and services.
